Future Land Use Map

The Future Land Use Map, put together by the Durham City/County Planning Department, shows what the Durham 2030 Comprehensive Plan envisions for the growth of the entire county over the next few decades. It's BIG.

Shown below is a small part of that map, focused on southwestern Durham. You might have to scroll to the right to see it all.

If you have a fast internet connection AND some time to spare, download the full-sized map (PDF). The map is huge (8MB). Streets and lotlines obscure the zoning information unless you zoom way in.

Chapter 2 of the Comprehensive Plan includes some less cumbersome (but less detailed) versions of the map, at the end of the chapter.
