Neighborhood College: Apply by July 29, 2005!
Applications are now being accepted for the fall session of the Durham City-County Neighborhood College. This unique ten-week series of classes, offered by Durham City and County governments, provides information on key City and County services. Participants meet and interact with City and County staff, and learn things about government that they've always wanted to know but didn't know whom to ask!
The last day to apply for the Fall session is July 29, 2005.

Public Hearings on Unified Development Ordinance
Durham's Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) project is the first major overhaul of Durham's development regulations in more than 30 years. In the works since 2003, it is now in the final stages of approval.
Public comments and input may be offered at this public hearing:
Monday, August 29, 2005 at 7pm
City Council Chambers, Durham City Hall, 101 City Hall Plaza
Information Sessions: Prior to the public hearing the Durham City/County Planning Department is hosting three informal information sessions. Citizens can meet with Planning Department staff to learn about the UDO and how this ordinance proposal may affect their property. Attendance during any part of the session is welcome.
Little River Community Complex — August 16th 4-7 PM
Southwest Branch Library — August 17th — 4-7 PM
Downtown Main Library Auditorium — August 18th — 4-7 PM
