Some of these tracts are for sale. Some have seen some rezoning action already; others will probably be coming through the process soon. If possible, we are in contact with the selling agent or the owners. But sometimes, those folks don't want neighbors to know what they're planning.
No case is resolved until building begins. If a rezoning attempt fails, the next development plan may be completely different, or it may be very similar. Neighbors forget to watch... or they believe they already fought that battle... or they just get tired of dealing with it.

Not another grocery store! The Woodlake Home Owners' Association has twice been approached about putting a grocery store on this 10-acre parcel. Since there are already 10 supermarkets within a 3-mile radius, neighbors would prefer some other use. Read more about the Woodlake entrance parcel

The rezoning application was withdrawn, so there will be no 72 townhomes on this 6.5-acre tract between Parkridge Rd and Highgate Drive. But the land is still for sale, and we're keeping an eye on it. Read more about 72 Townhomes case.

A proposed new subdivision along Harmony Road would connect Cook Road with northern Woodcroft's Morningside Drive. Proposed rezoning would be 50% denser than current zoning. Proposal is similar to one from 2003.
