Rezoning Pressure Intensifies

On the heels of the 72 Townhomes case, several nearby parcels have come on the market. The asking prices are too high to allow residential development. This means that the area is suddenly under intense pressure to rezone for offices or commercial.

The land in question is between Triangle Presbyterian Church and Park Veterinary Clinic (see map). There are three parcels on the south (southwest) side of NC-54, plus the "72 Townhomes" parcel on the north (northeast) side.
